A holistic & fully-inclusive service concept that allows universities to provide its students and faculty with options of premium auditory KITs for ideal distance-learning experience.

My roles as a UX/UI designer in this project includes conducting desk- and field-research that covers market research, interviewing stakeholders; conceptualised and developed a service blueprint with plans of integration to existing systems and products; developing UX/UI design for software features; testing prototypes with potential users and documenting feedback; Illustrating and animating pitch video and documentation.

Summary
The collaboration partners need for innovative service concepts with the topics of audio hardware and e-learning were met and tackled with several design methods. With design methods such as personas; user story mapping and A/B testing among others were employed to meet the end user as well as the project partners need.
IMMERSIO is the Service Concept Proposal we developed from the result of the Exploration. The Ecosystem of IMMERSIO works like the following:
1_ Renting System
After buying their needed amount of each IMMERSIO KIT, the University builds up a renting-System, to easily provide them to their students and lectures.
The Renting is on a free base to relese the financial risk for the End-User and to fullfill the requirements of full inclusion.
2_ The Physical KIT
The KITs itself provides the End-users with Sennheiser’s premium auditory equipment finely curated for their specific situation.
This professional audio-setup allows the End-User to influence the perception of the environment and protects them from a distractive surrounding.
With 3 KITs curated, the first “Basic” KIT caters to flexible needs, including noise-canceling headphones to clear users from distractions, and a charging dock that encourages daily habits, that are often lost when working remotely. The second, “Pro” KIT, supports more permanent settings. It additionally includes a modular set of speakers that allows for more options in immersive auditory experiences. The final KIT provides installments for classrooms that support a seamless merge of on-site and remote participants.
3_ IMMERSIO App
As a final addition to the concept, is a corresponding IMMERSIO-APP that operates as a connector between the hardware and software solutions. It helps to sync and install all components, set prefereable soundscapes, and also provides the user with a collection of life-hacks: on how to build new routines in the Distance-Learning Situation.
