My roles as one of the Designers in this project is to brainstorm on architectural, modular, structures and analysis of related projects; designed and developed a curated moodboard, sketched proposals, and curate a narrative/story as muse for the sculpture; documented and photographed a series of the active installation on-site; tested and evaluated prototype in between iterations of the installation.

Story

Since the Middle Ages, Lucerne has been known as the City of Lights. A city with a beautiful name and an even more enchanting history. According to legend, the first settlers of Lucerne were once blessed by the visit of an angel. This angel guided the people of Lucerne with lights, shining them on sacred spaces, hinting for them to build a chapel in honor of St. Nicholas. Here now stands the infamous Hofkirche...

... But history repeats itself and the story continues. The angel came once again to the city of Lucerne, bearing gifts of warmth and light. Perhaps as another sign for the people... Our installation, “Lichtgestalten”, brings you on a journey through the city as we unearth these luminous traces the angel once left behind.

I seek to actively pay attention as means to mediate sustainable designs by caring for inclusion.
